Thank you for using PureMetrics. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application for tracking and analyzing personal metrics and data insights.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

We collect minimal information necessary for the app to function:

• Metric Data: Personal metrics, data points, custom tracking categories, and analytics preferences you create within the app. This data is stored locally on your device by default.
• Preferences: App settings, dashboard configurations, chart preferences, and customization options. These are stored locally on your device.
• Premium Subscription: If you choose to upgrade to premium and use iCloud sync, we do not collect additional personal information beyond what is necessary for Apple's iCloud service.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

PureMetrics respects your privacy and collects minimal data:

• Basic Device Information: iOS version information may be collected for app compatibility purposes
• Crash Reports (Optional): iOS may collect crash reports if you have opted into sharing diagnostic data with Apple. This is managed through your iOS settings and Apple's privacy practices.

We do not: collect your IP address, track your usage patterns, monitor your app activity, or collect analytics data about how you use the app.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our personal metrics tracking and analytics services
• iCloud Synchronization (Premium Feature): For users who choose to upgrade to premium, we enable optional iCloud sync to synchronize your metrics data across your devices. This is an opt-in feature for premium users only.
• Generate charts, graphs, and analytics based on your tracked metrics
• Provide insights and trends analysis for your personal data
• Personalize your experience with customizable dashboard and tracking settings

3. Data Storage and Security

3.1 Data Storage

By default, all your metrics data and tracking information are stored locally on your device. We do not collect or store your personal data on external servers unless you choose to use the optional iCloud synchronization feature, which is available only to premium users.

Important for Free Users: If you delete the PureMetrics app from your device, all your tracked metrics and data will be permanently deleted. We do not have access to or maintain copies of your data on our servers, so deleted data cannot be recovered.

3.2 Optional iCloud Sync (Premium Feature)

Premium users have the option to enable iCloud synchronization to sync metrics data across their devices. This is completely optional and uses Apple's iCloud service. If you choose to enable this feature, your metrics data will be synced through iCloud and subject to Apple's privacy policies and terms.

3.3 Security Measures

PureMetrics employs robust security measures to protect your data:

• All data is stored locally on your device by default, accessible only to you
• For premium iCloud sync users, data is protected by Apple's security infrastructure
• No external servers or third-party services handle your personal metrics data
• iOS security features protect the app from unauthorized access

However, no method of data storage is 100% secure, and we recommend keeping your device updated with the latest iOS version for optimal security.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. PureMetrics does not share your metrics data with anyone.

4.1 No Third-Party Services (By Default)

PureMetrics operates with a privacy-first approach:

• We do not use analytics services or tracking tools
• We do not share data with advertising networks
• We do not use third-party cloud storage (unless you opt into premium iCloud sync)
• Your metrics and personal data remain completely private on your device

4.2 Premium iCloud Sync

If you choose to enable the premium iCloud sync feature, your data syncs through Apple's iCloud service in accordance with Apple's privacy policy. This is entirely optional.

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities, though it is unlikely given our minimal data collection.

5. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: You can access and review your personal information and metrics data at any time within the app
• Update: You can modify or update your information and tracking settings through the app settings
• Delete: You can delete your account and all associated data through the app settings or by contacting us
• Export: You can export your metrics data and analytics at any time

6. Third-Party Services

PureMetrics uses the following third-party services that have their own privacy policies:

• Apple iCloud: Used for optional cloud synchronization for premium users. Your data synced via iCloud is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy and terms.
• Apple App Store: If you download the app through the App Store, Apple's privacy practices apply to your purchase. Apple Privacy Policy

Important: We do not use Firebase, Google Analytics, or any third-party tracking or storage services. All data remains on your device or in Apple's iCloud service for premium users.

7. Children's Privacy

PureMetrics is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

8. International Data Transfers

Your metrics data is stored locally on your device by default. For premium users who enable iCloud sync, Apple manages data storage and international transfers through their iCloud service in accordance with Apple's terms and privacy policies. We do not operate our own servers for data storage.

9. Data Retention

9.1 Free Users

For free users, all metrics data and tracking information are stored locally on your device only. If you delete the PureMetrics app from your device, all your metrics data and analytics will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. We do not maintain any backups or copies of your data on external servers.

9.2 Premium Users with iCloud Sync

Premium users who enable iCloud synchronization have their data stored through Apple's iCloud service. This allows you to restore your metrics data if you delete and reinstall the app. iCloud synced data is subject to Apple's data retention policies and can be removed through your iCloud settings or by contacting us.

Important: We strongly recommend backing up your important metrics data or upgrading to premium with iCloud sync if you want to preserve your tracking information in case of device loss or app deletion.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, by posting a notice in the app or sending you an email.

11. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have certain rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including:

• Right to know what personal information is collected, used, shared, or sold
• Right to delete personal information held by us and our service providers
• Right to opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
• Right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights
